How to evaluate a project
Use this page before you contribute to any pool. It focuses on what you can verify yourself: on-chain proof, official links, and consistency of information.
Quick checklist
1) Confirm you are on the official page
- Open the pool from the official CheesePad website navigation.
- Cross-check the project links (X, Telegram, GitHub/website) and look for inconsistencies.
2) Review the pool terms
- Contribution window and rules
- Minimum / maximum contribution (if applicable)
- Allocation and vesting schedule (if applicable)
3) Verify Secure Lock proof
- What is locked (token vs LP)
- How long it is locked for
- Whether the schedule matches the project’s public claims
4) Check audit information
- If an audit badge is present, open the linked report and confirm it references the correct deployed contract address.
5) Validate on-chain links
- Contract addresses match what the team publishes
- Transactions exist and are verifiable on a block explorer
Red flags
- The team asks you to send funds outside the official flow
- Contract addresses differ across channels
- Locks unlock unexpectedly early relative to the announced plan
- Social accounts are newly created or impersonated
What to do if you are unsure
- Do not rush.
- Ask for clarification in official channels and request specific on-chain links.
